ROB ROgers

Patrick Griffin is our PGA Head Golf Professional at CIC. He was born and raised in Indiana, Pennsylvania where he attended Indiana Area High School and lettered in golf for 4 consecutive years. After high school, he attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sport Administration.

He began working at the Catawba Island Club in 2008/2009 as an intern and has spent the last 15 years here, working up to Head Golf Professional. During that time, he fulfilled my life long dream of becoming a member of the PGA of America. He has now been a member for 6 + years.

Patrick is married to his wife, Brittany and they have 2 children, Emma and Peyton. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, doing yard work at his home as well as spending time with his family.

Robert Rogers, a 2017 Catawba Island Club intern, returns to CIC as an assistant golf professional following stints at Indian Wells Country Club in Indian Wells, California, and Bearpath Golf and Country Club in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Rob is originally from Lapeer, Michigan and considers CIC his home for his golf career.

Rob will assist head golf professional Patrick Griffin in all aspects of the day-to-day golf operations, including tee times, course play, merchandising, and managing tournaments and leagues.

Rob graduated from Ferris State with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) golf management in December 2020. He is currently pursuing the Playing Ability Test (PAT), which is the PGA of America’s measure of golfing ability for aspiring PGA Professionals.
